Into isolation he went,
A man of older years
Trying not to get the virus.
He was told to stay at home,
Nobody could visit him,
It was not allowed.
He was ‘phoned each day,
His daughter ‘phoned him.
Then one day he didn’t answer,
And his daughter cried
As she said these words,
Such sad words:
“He lived alone,
He died alone,
He was buried alone”.
