dusk arising

reasons to be..... (part one)

The young man feels
the damp chill of
wind on his face
as he looks across
the valley below.
Resting now from
the exhillerating climb
to sip hot coffee
from a small flask.

Above, the sky sends
messenger clouds of
fine weather ahead,
puffing against the
morning azure.
Gone
yesterdays storm,
gone too
yesterday\'s tears.
This great leveller,
nature
rests him to its
reassuring continuity.

Feelings awaken
from  hidden
caves of ego where
laid anethetised,
in solace of
peace of mind,
they boil
in a cauldron
overflowing
with indescision.

Yet.
Continual
chorus of
mountain sheep
stir him to his feet.
A wind of change
rattles his
clothing.
Onwards....
