Flower Ladies

Early one morning
The birds are singing
Wondering if she walks alone
Through the empty valleys and canyons
Sure the trip is hard to the top
As the breeze grazes her face
The birds keep singing in tune
As I walk to the hall
To hand the pictures up above

There’s these visions that wake me up
Just like an empty museum
You wondered through the halls
Just as the nails on the wall balance memories
You carry your library in a piece of paper
Praying and believe in them

The flower ladies keep dancing on an empty lot
As the kids play under the rain
You whispered your name
To an empty tree under the rocks
Then, fire must be wood
To warm your bones
And carry you home
All these visions that remained
Will keep me awake after dawn

There’s a train moving, patiently across the way
I wonder if you been to the country
Just seem pictures in an old album
Never know if you simple in faith
Lets keep the walk to the moon
After the day is gone
Just as I hold your hand to dawn
People tell you can hide your sin
As the rain pour down on your face

You hold your hands in the sky
You try hold light with both hands
And you become gold
Sure as springtime roses
Walk alone the lawn carrying a torch
Just as I stare up in the sky
And the wind kisses me goodbye.
