I found a village at the base of a mountain
Its peak was so high it was hidden amongst the clouds
Someone greeted me with a wave then she told me
Go make your offering traveller to our Lord above
Else he fly down from his summit and bathe us all in fire
But with my hands clasped together I said
That on some nights I take a look up
I see an endless sky
And the moon shaped as a crescent
But I\'ve never seen a Dragon
I stayed in that village until my life ended
The people made their offerings of tears, blood and sweat
While I made a house with plain wooden walls my home
I never stayed in the inn with its seven unlit lamps
But every day I spoke to a one eyed man who\'d say
The Dragon is real as you or me
You\'ll know it when you open your heart
And when the Dragon came
I was the only one afraid
The villagers though were relieved
That their years of faith had been for something
