Flicking

I’m flicking, just flicking,

Through the channels,

Whilst I’m alive and kicking,

And whilst I’m viewing,

I gorge on chicken,

Which is finger-licking,

Goodness, though the clock is ticking.

So, I should do things,

Thus, no nit-picking,

Perhaps I should weave,

Do a spot of wicking,

Or be on the lookout,

Of those who are nicking,

And dream of giving them a good kicking.

Now I’m clicking, just clicking,

Watching videos, and doing some,

Job-seeking, and trying to avoid,

Politicking, like the plague,

Which many are sicking,

Readying those arms for some,

Health pricking, so they can still be alive and kicking.

I now toggle the flicking and clicking,

To multi-task, as I can’t leave, thus I’m sticking; here,

Clicking, flicking, whilst eating chicken,

Both being real, and doing some tricking,

But when it’s all said and done, as the time keeps

Ticking, and I remain alive and kicking,

All I’m really doing; is flicking and clicking.
