LOO ROLLS are one of the many indispensable things we all take for granted in the UK in the 21st Century ! So like Lemmings we panic buy when a Tragedy Strikes. Some big Families use more than a Roll per day - so a 12 pack is only a weeks suppiy. My Granny tells me that in WWII (1939 - 45) they cut up the Liverpool Echo and used that as Bum Fodder ! So unwittingly you went round with a picture of Adolf on yer Bum ! Toilet Paper was the numero uno Covid Commodity and we were rationed to TWO ROLLS per person per trip ! Personal HYGIENE *Lavarse las Manos !* became the Mantra so a ready supply of TP became obligatory. In a crisis the most mundane things gain ascendancy.
