That question that has been asked,
Asked so many times.
If only,
Would we have been in a better place,
A better place in our lives.
If only.
What would be different
If we went along that other path.
If only,
We had not met,
Not met that person.
If only,
We had agreed to do that task,
Or take that risk.
If only,
I had not taken up that pen,
And started writing these words.
If only?
