Can\'t seem to find my peace of mind,
With the Earthly World still trying to get me all entwined,
When I was young,
my momma would say,
Well life is hard
but that\'s okay,
If you can make it through the day,
It’s not that far Jesus
bridged it all the way,
If I was cast out on the sea,
Would you come and look for me,
Or would you just let me sink beneath the waves so blue,
Eyes close, dreamin\' of the better days gone by,
Gonna lay my burden down give it to Lord; and die,
Let the Lord lift me up on High,
Take me off the ground within the twinkle of an eye,
When Jesus calls me home to the other side,
He\'ll pull my Soul all way up High
When I wake; the trumpets sound off to play,
And I\'m standing with All of you at the Pearly Gates,
And I\'m not coming back to this Earth its way too far,
Until we all return with Jesus sitting way up on His Steed so High,
Fall down on my knees with joy to cry tears of Love for Him you see,
I know my race has just been won; nothing to do but Sing Praises Of My King Jesus for Eternity and a Day!
