Despite the job you had,
despite the house you owned,
you were always,
a hardworking man,
and humble to the bone.
Despite all,
the wealth you had,
the most you had was love.
You taught me how,
to give to others,
and that no man is beneath,
or above.
You taught me the importance,
of commitment,
and the importance ,
of work ethic,
and how there is always,
someone higher than you,
and how one must earn respect.
You told me,
to show sympathy,
when others need it,
and that helping others,
and showing compassion,
was a sign of strength,
not weakness.
I can go on forever,
about the things,
I learned from you,
and maybe even one day,
