Pull away the sky.
Look to see what’s inside.
Forgotten memories?
Or ancient remedies?
I guess we’ll never know.
We all paint a sky just for show.
Pinks, and blues and peach.
Waiting for our lives to reach their peak.
When really nothing awaits beyond.
The endless black is filled with leviathan.
Haunting tunes reach my ears.
The emptiness brings me to tears.
We’ve forgotten why we’re here.
And we’ve put up the sky to distract us from our fear
