What Else Would I Want?

I was completely lost,

Lost in the world of Mozart

And in the words of a book.

I listened and I read with complete joy,

Lost to the world outside,

Outside my world,

My world of music and words.

I would stop reading

When the music pulled me,

Pulled me into the wonder,

The wonder of Mozart.

Mozart would then accompany me,

Accompany me as I read.

The fading light went by

And darkness was outside.

But I was filled with light,

The light of Mozart,

And the words on the page.

For what else could I want.
