I, O God, be poor, sorrowful
I your salvation recall
Let it set me up on high for
I do trust in you here sure
I will praise the name of God here
With a song to Him draw near
Will magnify Him, and thanks give
By His mercies I shall live
The humble shall see this, be glad
Turn from mourning, not be sad
Your heart shall live, you that God seek
Heart that be lowly and meek
For the LORD the poor He does hear
To His prisoners does appear
Let the heaven and earth Him praise
The seas too, throughout all days
For God will save Zion and build
Judah\'s cities, home and field
