ROSE IN A GARDEN OF WEEDS ~ QUATRAINS IN AN abba RHYME PATTERN

WE THOUGHT YOU WOULD ENJOY ~ The Grand Dominion Traditional Jazz Band (note the informality of both the Band & the Audience) playing the original SONG (1926).  In the poem we have extended the MANTRA to describe anything BEAUTIFUL in an incongruous setting ~ such as the beautiful Sapphire & Diamond pendant ~ lying in the rubble ~ shown in the Picture !  A Rose in a Garden of Weeds indeed !  Love ANGELA & BRIAN  ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’›

A ROSE IN A GARDEN OF WEEDS

You look so out of place

With your Bright Shining Face

But WHY ? Curiosity feeds !

A Rose in a Garden of Weeds

A Smart House in a Road

Thats dishevelled and Old

Is that what this Neighbourhood needs ?

A Rose in a Garden of Weeds

A Beautiful GIRL ~ in a

Medley of turmoil & swirl

One Prays that in life She*ll succeed !

A Rose ina Garden of Weeds

Describes something not planned

Like a Jewel in the Sand

One never knows where it leads ?

So if you see something that feels

Out of place ~ a Beautiful Garden

Where the rests a disgrace

Never judge a Man by His Weather-worn Face

HES A ROSE IN A GARDEN OF WEEDS !
