As I looked back in my life,
Into my cup of life,
I found things that I had done,
Found things that I had believed in
That were not right for me,
Found beliefs forced on me,
Forced on me by others.
Came the time when I drained that cup,
That cup of materialism and self-obsession,
And those beliefs that others had put in that cup,
Until there were only the dregs left.
Then I saw clearly my new life,
My new life that showed clarity,
Clarity and freedom into my future.
