Comfort, comfort, my people all
Hearken now to the heralds call
John Baptist cries in wilderness
Turn from your sins, repent, confess
For he a voice, he says, Prepare
Way of the Lord, it just and fair
Make straight in desert a highway
For our God, to Him trust and pray
Every valley shall be lifted
Up, mounts and hills be made low, bid
Crooked places to be made straight
Rough places mae smooth, not be late
And the glory of the LORD shall
Be revealed, and all flesh shall tell
Shall see it together, the LORD
By his mouth has spoken this word
