In the UK CHRISTMAS is the most important Festive Season of the YEAR. Because of COVID 19 - many People GLOBALLY will be unable to meet with Friends & Family for Yuletide Festivities ! WE like to celebrate TOGETHER and Christmas PRESENCE is far more important then Christmas PRESENTS ! We have ordered a GAZEEBO so we can entertain both our Parents in the GARDEN for DINNER on BOXING DAY (December 26 !). PRESENTS or PRESENCE That is the difference between the OLD & NEW Testaments in the BIBLE. The OT was a PRESENT from GOD (JEHOVAH) to Moses & The Prophets & The Priests & The Kings of the Jewish Nation. The OT is profitable for Doctrine - Reproof - Correction & Instruction in Righteousness ! This is why it is included in the Christian BIBLE.
The NT is quite different it is about the PRESENCE of GOD - dwelling among US on Earth - in the FORM of The Lord Jesus Christ - The Son of God - The second Person of the Trinity. Through Christ*s atoning Death on the Cross in AD 33 the Whole Human Race can have Salvation and Eternal Life in Heaven ! It is also about the PRESENCE of God*s Holy Spirit (Third Person of the TRINITY) on Earth and indwelling the Minds & Hearts of all Born Again Christians ~ AMEN !
