Each week I have to check up ~ On my Lady Wife !
Ladies love to Spend on Wine & Jewels & Clothes & Stuff
ANGEL takes NO notice of *Enuff Dear is Enuff !*
When buying Christmas Prezzies one does have to Take Care
Her Christmas List is twice as long ~ as her *List for Prayer*
A recent survey showed the Prezzies Adults hate to get
And yet we keep on buying them & its not December yet !
Top of the list - Cheap Smellies - Gift Sets & Bubble Baff
Folk open them - then smell them - then they have a Laff
Candles - Sox & Sets of Mugs ~ next on the NO NO LIST
But WINE is fine & Spirits ~ Gifts no one can resist !
Angelas PAPA is helpful here ~ Says *No Candles & NO Sox*
Three Bottles of RIOJA in a Presentation Box ~ Special Price !
She gives them to Her Colleagues & Her Friends Far & Near
Or Vintage Port & Stilton will always bring Good Cheer !
Books & Christmas Jumpers are another *Reject Pile*
Sports Persons *True Life Stories* always fail to make me Smile !
When in doubt for giving out ~ please dont send people Games
When all else Fails ~ send Vouchers for the Orient Express Trains!
In Essex every Year we each spend ~ £1500 on YULE
Spare no expense Food - Prezzies - Drink we all want to be COOL
I hope my ODE will not put off ~ folks buying Gifts Bizarre
