She was back,
Back with me.
Lying by my side,
That smiling face
Looking at me.
I looked into her eyes,
Deep into her eyes,
And saw the love,
The love she had,
She had for me.
Knowing she would see
The love in my eyes,
The love I had,
I had for her.
We brought our lips
Together once more,
And that kiss took us
Took us to a world
A world remembered
For many years.
But then it happened,
I awoke from my dream
And she was gone once more,
But I knew she would be there
Waiting for me to join her,
On that day My Spirit rose,
Rose from my body.
