It is so easy to make.
Just one egg,
One hundred grams of flour,
Mix them together into a dough.
Flatten the dough,
Again and again,
Again and again.
Run it thought a press,
Again and again,
Again and again,
Thinner and thinner each time,
It is so easy.
Then cut the dough
Into a quarter inch strips,
And there you have it
The tagliatelle is prepared.
It is so easy,
But then you have the problem.
There is flour everywhere,
Small lumps of the pasta hide away
All round the kitchen,
All through the house,
And you spend the next few days
Finding it in strange places,
At least I do!
