All that the Country provided You .......
Colonized by the RICH & the POOR ones too !
In 17 hundred and 76 America became a NATION
And the THIRTEEN STATES expanded to FIFTY
And forty-six Presidents came & went
Mostly GOOD but some BAD and some SHIFTY !
Today we celebrate THANKSGIVING DAY
For the PILGRIM FATHERS that landed .......
Had their first HARVEST ~ sixteen - twenty - one
Convince thet The GOOD LORD had planned it ~ AMEN !
Their language is ENGLISH ? YES ! The UK played a part
In COLONIZATION ~ right from the start
BUT ~ Children grow up and soon flee the NEST
So AMERICA did ~ with the Colonial rest !
SO ~ Let us give thanks for the USA
Who supported UK through Two World Wars
WE rejoice with You on this THANKSGIVING DAY
Cos WE know in this World we*ve a Common Cause
We Pray for Joe Biden ~ PRES - I - DENT ELECT
And MALALA - His VP - who stepped up to the Plate
We Pray He*ll unite this NATION SELECT ~

We have attended Thanksgiving Day Dinners in America and with American Friends in the UK *It sounds a lot like Christmas* but the experience is completely different ! It is a replica meal of the One the Pilgrim Fathers shared with the Native Americans in 1621 to celebrate their First Harvest in the New Land ! Thanks is given to GOD for the part played by the PILGRIM FATHERS in the Colonization of America. Everyone should experience a Thanksgiving Dinner ~ especially the PUMPKIN PIE ~ AMEN !
