WHAT DO WE THINK OF TWENTY - TWENTY
Restrictions - afflictions - We could cite plenty !
For Easter this Year ~ Our Wedding was planned
Bestman & Bridesmaids and a Cool Jazz Band !
One Hundred Guests had been invited
We*d got engaged and Our Troth was plighted
Then along came COVID 19 ~ A Global Virus
No HONEYMOON in Spain or Cyprus !
WE went into LOCKDOWN ~ All Weddings were STOPPED
All our preparations ~ like hot coals were DROPPED
We got Married in March ~ the occasion was GLAD
Because our Four Witnesses were Our MUMS & DADS !
A Few Friends outside were throwing CONFETTI
WE went to our New Home & dined on SPAGHETTI
WE*VE all had disappointments & setbacks this YEAR
Don*t let COVID spoil CHRISTMAS ~ the Vaccine is HERE !
