Unaltered

The rest of our lies, the last of our truth

Delivers us wrapped, in garments of youth.

Scorned by the pain of Life as we grew

The garments are torn almost in two.

The twisted excuse, The trusted belief

The fools we become distilled in the grief

The answers we seek,to questions we asked

The face of our own tis now put a mask.

The lives that we live around what we need.

Is forged by world of anger and greed

And the things we desire and long so to find

Are those of the heart unaltered by mind.

And yet we will settle for what seems to be

Until the heart sees it true and Truth sets us free
