Bethlehem, small town, see

His plan from old, eternity
God\'s Son will the Saviour be
Angels that birth announce
Mercy to mankind, not trounce*
What small to mankind\'s sight
When it full comes to light
It in God\'s sight is valued much
And blessed with His anointing touch
Stone rejected by men
Made head of corner then**
