I have never seen myself as old,
But then it came to me,
Maybe I was old.
As I talked to my grandson
I mentioned my father,
His great grandfather.
That really shook me up,
As a such important person in my life
Was never known by my grandson.
That’s when I realised,
Maybe I am old.
