Treading water
Against my will
Destiny drowns me
Living Still
Morning has broken
And so has my face
Pointlessness pervades
Not in the race
Maybe I’ll wake up
In spite of myself
Arrive at the answers
Then burn in Hell
Chasing down a whir that blurs at my being
I’ve been waiting too long for a vision worth seeing
Keep doing what I’ve done, and getting all I’ve got
Einstein’s insanity! Until unforgiving I rot
On days like these, these words linger
More of the same!
Endlessness repeated
Again and Again
I’ll lay them to rest, just like the others
Suffocating in the graveyard of their sisters and brothers
A bird starts to whisper in the naked winter trees
One day, maybe they’ll deliver
The End
Of days like these
