They ask me why I stay
Tell me it\'s not healthy
I should be independent
But they don\'t know what I do
I stay
And I endure the pain
Because only I can
My purpose in life
Is to be exactly where I am now
I can\'t explain it
It\'s an instinct
As pure as survival
It just makes sense
Through this experience
I have been taught strength
And in return
I gave love
Not everything
Will make sense to everyone
But just because you would leave
