Being alone has me writing this rhyme
No Superhero sidekick no partner in crime
Days spent in isolation gives cause for hesitation
To open your door to wanting much more
A friend for life doesn’t mean a wife
But your partner in crime in which to do time
I’ve spent the last years, thinking it was ok
That being on my own was the best possible way
I’ve tried with friendships but they all feel the same
No ones ever driving in the same line
Things start great then they learn about you
See your troubles as a burden rather than understanding you.
All I ask is to try and get me, I’m not asking to come and save me.
