I awake from my glorious sleep,
The new day ahead of me.
I just lay there and listen,
I hear a robin singing
In the early dawn,
Its calling to me and to others,
The light of the day is near.
I arise and look out of the window,
The moon shines upon me,
Showing me once more
That today will be a good day.
I come down and walk into the garden,
Around me I hear natures call
As the blackbirds and sparrows speak to me.
Another wonderful day is awaiting
And I am ready to enjoy it,
As I do every day.
