I believe in second chances
To that I can’t deny
And love can last a lifetime
To that I’ll testify
If the level of love reached
Was a sign of success
Then I’ve been there and beyond
With ample love in excess
For with love in your heart
You’ll never be poor
And all the world’s riches
Worthless at your door
No treasure anywhere
Compares to that of true love
Because love can’t be bought or sold
You’ll know it when you’re a part of
It might be destiny
Or it might be fate
But when it has you in its grips
You’ll pray the Lord it’s not too late
Just give it all you have
For that’s why it’s there
As you take in another breath
Of love in the air
