Wish I had a phone number
A direct line to Heaven
Every day, but especially
On December eleven
Mothers of birth and adoption
To hear their sweet voices
When I’m faced with decisions
To hear their advice on choices
My dog of eleven years
Shelby, the prettiest of Samoyeds
As she looks out from picture frame
I’m reminded of all our joys
And Sharon, the love of my life
I pray in Heaven, not yet there
But to hear her mid-western drawl
To see the smile she wears
I want to call Heaven
In my times of need
To say I love you
