I am equally
incredulous that
you would patently
surmise our present
condition as resting
wholly on the premise,
on the supposition
that it all just so
happened to come about
by chance; your sole, rich
rebuttal resting
on the simple, strident,
sure exclamation:
“Well now here we are!”
