Bury me alone

I told her to bury me,
So I may live in no misery.
With weights forever tied to me,
What a life this turned out to be.

So that this tension can be released,
strung out so much I\'m unseen.
Like a mirror broke from the inside out,
Does that make any sense to you?

With a mound of dirt where no feet go,
But yet every shoe has come across it.
This is the place I\'d call my home,
I\'m sure you\'d not recognize the name.

There\'s a cold here I feel slightly,
Just as I close my weary eyes.
I was scared at first and then always.
But it\'s just a bit better now.

As I\'m here alone.
