I\'ve got much to be thankful for,
Life is a blessing, no matter what.
Yet still, this darkness eats at me
The path I\'m on leaves much in store,
Learning lessons, leaving doors shut.
Yet still, with starkness see
what simply couldn\'t be.
The wind blows through the trees,
And the birds chirp happily.
Yet still, I feel hopelessly lonely.
The buzzing of the bees
And waves crashing on the seas
Serve little to cure this disease,
No matter how I plead.
