When I was sixteen (my story)
When I was sixteen
I puzzled like I was fourteen
My thought grew above eighteen
And I looked as if I was nineteen.
When I was sixteen
I acted like the third Adam
My eyes opened ahead of twenty.
And I ate the glowing fruit of Eve.
When I was sixteen
I refused to flee like Joseph
When Mrs Potiphar served me a meal
Cause I didn\'t want to be unwise.
When I was sixteen
Holiness to me was a stranger
I washed my purity in naughtiness
and smoking was my breathe.
When I was sixteen
Religion wasn\'t my friend
I refused to be a church rat
Cause I wouldn\'t eat prayers
When I was sixteen
My head was forced to live with the bible
So as to be roofed like a pastor
But my eyes nerved across the sea.
When I was sixteen
I own a home with a ghost
All night we rested on each other
And shared the best of our fruits.
