I remember that day so well,
My lover and I went to lunch,
Lunching with some friends
On a boat on the river,
A wonderful place with wonderful food.
We sat at our table eating our food,
Listening to the singer
Singing some wonderful songs,
Making the enjoyment much more.
Then it happened.
My Lover was wearing a red dress,
The singer stood up with his guitar
Walked over to us,
And stood in front of Joyce
And sang to her,
Sang ‘Lady in Red’.
Such a wonderful memory.
