Always looking out
While within you I live
Known to you as your Muse
Words to you I fondly give
When you search for the right words
To convey what you want to say
Through your poetic heart
A metaphor for you to relay
Because I know you so well
I know what’s in your heart
Thoughts you hold most dear
Within your deepest part
When you feel “Writer’s Block”
And it seems you can’t hear me
Don’t try so hard
Just relax, and there I’ll be
As you feed to me
I feed back to you
Your feelings deep inside
So you may express them true
For each other
We can’t live without
You looking in, and me
Inside looking out
