knocked on your door
would you be shocked
at the intrusion?

a translation?
Perhaps, perhaps not.
Perhaps DuckDuckGo?
Hand gestures may work,
but what if the being
had tentacles?
What if the being had
no eyes as such,
no ears to hear
a conversation?
Blurts to blob,
hand gestures, grunts,
sighs of surprise,
clearly fall flat
for such
a momentous occasion.
\"Can you call back tomorrow?\"
\"When I\'m dressed.\"
\"The kids would like to meet Yah.\"
