Thunderous, your heart beats for her
But safe is your secret love
Unbeknownst to everyone
Except yourself and stars above
At sight of her
In silent awe, you stare
You’re mesmerized
Surrounded with her air
The words stop short
There upon your lips
Hesitation holds you hostage
On “I love you,” you trip
But your inner voice
Tells you to persevere
Believe in your heart
Confess your love sincere
You might not get another chance
It’s time to make a new plan
Pull out all the stops
Tell her while you can
