Aghast, I am taken by the hand
into woodland wilde
by nimble will of diminutive,
near translucent, fairey child.
Bejewelled butterfly wings
catch trick-lets of sunlight cascade
where summer\'s raindrops
turn to rainbow cascades
of glittering dust droplets
bursting upon fingertip\'s reach.
Branches on high dance gentle
on the breeze to reach down
leafy greeting smiles to
tease with skin tickling touch.
There among childhood dreams
I\'m relaxed amid forest sprites
sipping honeyed leaf dew
from serving buttercup blossoms.
So, so gently my excited entrance
into wonderland\'s childlike dream
has calmed with tranquil waves of peace
to deep restful soothing rythmn
as sleep\'s contentment overtakes me.
