Here we go again,
He said he would not raise the tax,
Would not raise National Insurance,
It was promised in their manifesto.
There is no way he would break the triple lock,
The triple lock that secured pensioners pensions.
This was set in stone for those who worked all their lives
Paying taxes for their pensions.
And what does he do?
He raises the National insurance,
Taking more money from those,
Those who work in our country.
And what does he do
He stops the guarantee,
The guarantee that pensioners
Will see their pensions safe.
So there it is again,
That question I often ask,
“How do you know when politicians are lying”
And the answer is, “Their lips move!!”
