The coldest of air is kissing me in ways I can\'t unsee
The tension in this room makes everything feel uneasy
I\'m holding back my tears, I fear that they will only freeze
My ribcage is pressing against my skin as I breathe heavily
My heart is shaking out of place, it may fall to my feet
The cage I thought I locked it in, useless it must be
There\'s no sound anywhere but both my ears still bleed
The ghosts must be taunting me and both my bloody knees
All the words in all these notebooks, they make me so afraid
They\'re jumping out, latching onto my eyes and my name
They remind me of the friends I used to say I hate
But now they\'re taking their revenge and eating me away
At the brink of it all, there\'s nothing I\'ve got left to say
All my shadows painted on the walls
A figure of fun has always been my name
