You know - Battle Of Hastings in 1066 in UK
October 14th is the date to book

But - do you know there\'s one condition
You have to have been there in person in 1066!
Even if not in the battle
And you only observed it
Just to have been around in Hastings then
You\'ll be very old now, of course
And - woof! - my (imaginary) dog, Fido
He will be there too
Keep them poems marked 18+if they need to be
He will read them all when he gets back
Oh yes, a talking, reading, barking dog!
He reads the newspaper by the fire
On dark evenings, in his carpet slippers
He says - if smoking wasn\'t bad for us
He would smoke a pipe too!
Call me eccentric if you will
Oh, it\'s barmy, it\'s nutty!
But don\'t be gloomy-doom always
Though there\'s real times of trouble in life
Meanwhile, he barks ferociously

One tried to help me
