Autumn Night

The night speaks to me mellifluously
As I wander into the radiant moonlight
A soft breeze whispers, crisply
Caressing autumn\'s most alluring display
Leaves hold wearily to their loving branches
Until in passing, they fall like gentle rain

Time pauses graciously, for my indulging in this moment
The light of sheltering homes, dancing through the trees
Stars look down and ponder of my nature
My shadow waits patiently as I linger in this dream
This beautiful autumn night and I lose myself inside it
The past, the present and future are herein, magnificently alive.
