Dwell

To live somewhere.

Ironically, in a free land.

But choose the dark.

Oh yes, it is a choice.

You choose where you place your thoughts.

Your headspace is yours to direct, influence.

If you feel trapped, it is in your own snare.

Stop and look at the river of your own mind.

Look at the bottom, your identity.

Who you’ve been, who you are, and who you want to keep becoming.

Look at the water, your attitude.

Has your tampering made it murky, discolored, thick, or backed up?

Look at what is in the water, your thoughts.

Are you stopping them, are you picking them up to dissect and dwell in?

To dwell by the river and watch it pass.

To sit on the bank and find its peace and joy.

We’re not so different, if you look around.

Once we discover our nature isn’t so pure.
