Spontaneous Combustion
The fire caught a draft and it flashed
The heat was intense as the flames roared
The landscape was so dry from drought
And a fire raged that would not be put out
Two bodies consumed like an inferno
Fully engulfed by passion’s flames
The flames licking at your mouth
Then slowly advance down to the south
You moan as the fire takes control
Suddenly an ecstatic explosion sends shock waves through the air
Like fireworks exploding in the night sky fair
Grabbing on firmly to the fire hose
You take command of the scene
Determined to douse the whole place
You manipulate the spigot with grace
Soon the pressure builds dangerously high
And the hose takes on a life of its on
The spray escapes with a mighty force
Drawing it out from the hydrants source
Till all lay quietly burned by desire’s heat
Smoke still rising from the ashes piled
The smell of heated members remain
Will the smoldering fire combust again
