My return is as unembellished as it is achievable
For though I need not endure discouragements that erode
There are pathways I follow in loyalty to myself
I am the king of my heart
I am the master of my responses
I am the ruler of my reasoning
I am the captain of my existence
So as I traverse this confusing awareness called life I have been bequeathed
I must surely make most of the purity this gift generously offers to my soul
A heavenly kingdom of inner peace and tranquility I readily take for myself
