What castle now
awaits me skyward.
Where comes
a light of hope.
This lantern dimmed
within my soul
casts shadows
into doubt.
The reapers joy
has scarred my face
with tear\'s
pathetic trails.
My haunted heart,
encloaked and bitter,
no more a
passion\'s start.
Though skyward
holds no beauty.
A solemn songbird
laments death\'s hour
Autumn presents
it\'s golden wreath.
As I lay to rest
my lover\'s flower.
