Into this world we were born so free
With a touch of your soul so heavenly
Wrapped inside with lovingly care
These bodies you made from your artists clay
Go forth you said and so we did
Never really understanding what it is you meant
Free will and sovereignty were your gifts to us
But when it came to brains we all missed the bus
But still you watch over us all
I bet you\'re laughing to see us fools
Run around like headless chickens
An analogy you created and a point we are missing
You see free will is all well and good
Until you realise what you are meant to do
God is waiting for you to hear his call
And this gift he gave is a powerful tool
To be one with him is a mighty thing
But only if you choose to let him in.
And if you don\'t that\'s fair enough
But you are somehow diminished
From who you are
So I guess the moral of this humble tale
Is about letting go of the things we know
About the power of choice and consequence
And realising without him we are nothing
