Tears drip silently unspoken
as depression crashes inside
sinking roots within the skin
spilling sorrow from the unseen wounds, surrounding me
my brain beats louder than a drum
pounding the suffering
entwining with depression
drowning all self-confidence
in an eight inch puddle of blood
that resides within the mind
flaying the skin of happiness
cries and pleads for a soul to help
before I pass out from the pain
but no soul can hear the screams
when they are internal
so I\'ll sit here and wither
and pray for a brand new day
to come and take me over
