Blush

Your blush blossoms as a rose
Drinking the sun
Showering soft petals
Breathing slow between your lips
Your incandescent hue
Illuminates and rises
Effervescent bubbles
Celebrating inside you as champagne

Your blush paints pink sunset
Delicate across a desert sky
Reflecting the radiant remains of summer
Returning as sunshine across your meadow
Your color awakens
Wishes that long to run free
Exhaling the aroma asleep to unfurl
And bloom on the breeze.
